Goddess Girl is a short film written and co-directed by Canadian rapper The Kid Famous which also features a soundtrack produced by Burd & Keyz. The film is split up into eight short scenes which will be released weekly accompanied by a link to download the featured song from that scene. Starring Aston "Famous" Bishop and Tassja Dawn, Goddess Girl is a tale of love, but there's a thin line between love and obsession.

For those unfamiliar with Famous, the Toronto native (by way of Montreal & Virginia) has been putting in work behind the scenes by working with artists such as Bow Wow, Ciara and Wyclef Jean during his time at Sony BMG. Since moving from behind the desk to behind the mic, Famous has worked with the likes of Kardinal Offishall, DJ Whoo Kid and others, most recently on his I Rap Now EP. Famous has subsequently been nominated for a Stylus Award, a Much Music Video award and Canada's coveted Juno Award.

"I was able to express my feelings and thoughts through music," Famous says. "Goddess Girl is sort of the same thing.except the emotion and character is built for the big screen."

After being launched earlier in the fall, the Goddess Girl campaign is now in its eight week. All previous scenes are available at www.goddessgirlmovie.com. HipHopDX offers a free preview as scenes six and seven have been combined below.
