Legendary emcee and face of Def Jam for over 20 years, LL Cool J will be releasing the last album on his contract with the storied record label - Exit 13.

In an interview with Reuters.com, LL revealed that although it's the last album on his contract, it's likely not his last music project.

"I have no reason to stop making music," said the icon who, for the past several years, has been known to criticize his label and its former president, Jay-Z, but is now on good terms with Def Jam. "We have a great relationship and there's no telling what will happen moving forward," LL Cool J said. "There's no negative energy there now; everybody feels positive, we all feel connected."

LL also explained that has a myriad of projects to keep him busy, including TV shows, as well as his new clothing line at Sears [click to read].

"It feels really good in this economic climate for me as not only an artist, but as a businessman to be able to present something to America that I know will make things a little easier for people," said LL of the clothing line, which contrasts other rappers' high-end products such as Diddy's Sean John and Jay-Z's Rocawear.
